Ethical & Responsible Sourcing

Sustainability

We care about sustainability deeply. We do care our people, universe and our future. We are committed to people and nature and offer our customers – fashion, produced with responsibility. We comply with social and ecological minimum standards for the production of all products. We also carry out strict controls of harmful substances and set clear guidelines for our suppliers / production facilities regarding the protection of animal welfare.

We use only certified manufacturers across the country that provide fair and safe work practices to protect your “brand image” as well as the end users. Our team make audits its suppliers regu- larly to ensure they retain ethical and material standards.

At the production level, we use a Restricted Substances List (RSL). The list contains clear guidelines on the absence of harmful substances and threshold values for the level of chemical substances in the end product. It follows the AFIRM Group guidelines as well as industry stan- dards, for example the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. As part of our quality guideline the RSL is integrated into the contracts with our suppliers, to ensure compliance in production. Our produc- tion facility / suppliers carry out standard preliminary checks. In addition, we ourselves regularly check all the components of a garment, such as the fabric, lining, buttons and zippers, for the parameters listed in the RSL, for all our products are tested for factors such as carcinogenic azo dyes, allergy-inducing dyes, and other substances harmful to health or the environment.

We also offer our high-end customers (who needed) goods/products is guaranteed by compli- ance with the legal limit values (according to REACH regulation, consumer goods regulation, etc.). The use of ‘Substances of Very High Concern’ (SVHC) according to the REACH regulation is also regulated/maintained in the company’s own RSL.

Chemicals Policy At Production

At the level of production, we require our suppliers/production facilities to comply with a ‘Manufacturer Restricted Substances List’ (MSRL) for chemicals management in production plants. It lists the pollutant limit values for chemicals and mixtures used in the factories’ manufacturing processes – unlike the RSL mentioned above, which refers to the end products. In this way, we aim to effectively reduce the use of sub- stances that are harmful to the environment or health, and thereby prevent substantial damage to the environment and the climate.

Through our active involvement we achieve synergy effects in the implementation of responsible chemical management in the supply chain, and can rely on the support of our partners.

Our strict guideline and regular follow-ups ensure that our products are free of harmful substances and that chemical are used in production and in a way that protects the safety of people and the environment.
